Day 1 - Arrival in Tbilisi

Meet at the airport. Transfer to the hotel. Hotel accommodation and stay overnight in Tbilisi.


 

Day 2-Tbilisi

Breakfast at the hotel. Tbilisi sightseeing tour - the Old and New Towns. The city offers a great variety of sights, most of them very ancient. All the places of interest in the Old Town are very close to each other, within a few minutes' walk. We start our visit to Old Tbilisi from Metekhi Church, then walk up to the brick-domed Sulphur Baths. From the Baths we head up the hill to visit The Narikala - Fortress one of the oldest fortifications in the city. Afterwards we continue into the botanical garden to view a beautiful waterfall. During the tour guests will have an opportunity to visit Shardeni and Erekle streets with their fascinating atmosphere and souvenir shopping possibility and to experience fully the rhythm and the beauty of the capital of Georgia. After lunch we drive to Tbilisi Mall, which is the largest shopping centre in the Caucasus region. It is home to world-class brands and international shopping outlets for men and women's fashion. Stay overnight in Tbilisi.



Day 3 - Tbilisi - Mtskheta-Gudauri

Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to visit the ancient capital and religious centre of Georgia - Mtskheta (3000 years old) and see its historical sites: Jvari church (6th century) and Svetitskhoveli Cathedral (11th century) where the Robe of Christ is buried. Both Jvari and Svetitskhoveli are UNESCO World Heritage sites. After lunch we visit the ancient ruins of the city and drive up the famous Georgian Military Highway, en route visit Ananuri architectural complex (17th century). The drive is very scenic as it heads up into the Great Caucasus mountains. Hotel accommodation. Overnight in Gudauri ski resort (2200m).



Day 4 - Gudauri - Mukhrani - Uplistsikhe-Tbilisi

Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to "Chateau Mukhrani" winery, which is the first Georgian chateau to have the three obligatory components including vineyard, manufacturing and history. Excursion in Prince Bagrationi's castle with its gardens, stable, ancient cellars, amphitheater, vineyards, etc. Wine tasting. * Optional activities: horse riding, Churchkhela (traditional Georgian sweet dish)-making, traditional Georgian bread-baking and Chacha (Georgian Vodka) distillation. Continue to Uplistsikhe cave town, which is one of the oldest places of settlement in the Caucasus (3 millennium). Built on the high rocky left bank of the Mtkvari River, it contains different structures and is notable for the unique combination of various styles of rock-cut cultures from Anatolia and Iran, as well as the co-existence of pagan and Christian architecture. In the evening return to Tbilisi. Stay overnight in Tbilisi.


 

Day 5 - Tbilisi - Sighnaghi - Kvareli-Tbilisi

Breakfast at the hotel. Drive through a beautiful landscape of vineyards and wine-producing villages of the Kakheti region and arrive in Sighnaghi - the city of love and art. The winding cobblestone streets, architecture and 18th century walls create a charming atmosphere. After lunch drive to Kvareli lake resort, which is the best place for leisure and entertainment. Enjoy a wide range of optional services: Terrace bar, fishing zone, boats, water bicycles, mountain and utility bicycles, strolling line, backgammon, chess, playing cards, darts, badminton, childrens playground and so on. In the evening return to Tbilisi. Stay overnight in Tbilisi.



Day 6 - Departure

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer from Tbilisi airport and departure.
